I have felt challenged with the "silicate matrix" bodies lately .... I said to my husband that we had carbon-based bodies but were getting upgraded silicate bodies (then crystal bodies) ... I'm just learning so not solid on my understanding of this (or anything!!)!
The next day he sent me a video where some guy was poo-pooing the silicate bodies and tied it in with Silicon Valley. I didn't let it sink in much but it did plant a seed of doubt. Then today I saw someone else saying something negative about silicate bodies. Anyway...all this to say that I've been trying to understand more about the difference and I found this link that I thought had interesting information and thought I would share. :)
